Pending the official announcement of Microsoft and Asus, in the past few hours the price of the new Handheld Rog Xbox Ally PCs may have already been leaked by surprise, which if confirmed should not detach itself much from that of current devices on the market.
As reported by 3DJuegos (via Trueachievements), Asus herself would reveal the prices, given that the cost of the consoles would have temporarily emerged on Google as per the price list in an official store.
According to reports, the white Ally Rog Xbox Ally would cost € 599, while the Rog Xbox Ally X, or the most powerful premium models, would reach a cost of approximately € 899.
As a result, the most powerful Xbox Ally should have the same list price as the Rog Ally X, therefore in line with expectations and perhaps even slightly better, since many fans feared even more expensive prices.
In case you are still evaluating which handheld most suitable for your needs – and inevitably to the wallet – you can comfortably review the official specifications in our dedicated news, so as to analyze in detail all the pros and cons.
The Rog Xbox Ally are part of the new strategy of the Redmond house to try to get to each player, with the advantage of having an official portable Xbox device to discover the whole game of Game Pass (find the subscription on Amazon).
As was easily understood, these are obviously Premium products – especially the Xbox Rog Ally X – intended for those who can afford this type of expenditure, but for Microsoft it will also be an important test bench for the next Xbox consoles.
In fact, Microsoft has anticipated that the new consoles will be more similar to PC hybrids and it is no coincidence that the Xbox Rog Ally will use a custom version of Windows 11, more designed for gaming and which in fact will act as a forerunner for the new generations.
Obviously it remains to be seen what the public’s response will be in all respects: I remind you that in any case these prices have not yet been made official by Asus and Xbox, which is why I invite you to keep an eye on our pages for updates on the matter.
