The month of June 2025 saw the debut of many new games on the PlayStation Store, but it is two to compete for the summit: Rematch and Death Stranding 2 on the beach.
While the sequel to the cult title of Kojima Productions conquers the first place in the United States, Rematch wins the European summit.
The situation turns upside down in the following positions, with the Sloclap football game reaches the fourth overseas position and Death Stranding 2 which replies the same placement in the Old Continent.
The success of rematch is not limited to PlayStation sales only: the multi -platform title has reached over one million copies sold and three million total players from the launch. Numbers that testify to the universal appeal of an approach to videogame football that favors immediate fun with respect to extreme realism, intercepting a band of audience often overlooked by traditional simulators.
Despite the raid of the new titles, the resilience of Evergreen games continues to amaze. Grand Theft Auto V firmly maintains the second position in North America and the third in Europe, confirming a commercial longevity that challenges any market logic. Minecraft, for its part, permanently occupies the eighth position in both rankings of the PlayStation Store, demonstrating how creativity without limits continuous to attract players of all ages.
