It’s always nice to play without spending a euro, and when Steam gives us a new game for free it’s a good thing.\r\nThe Valve platform, authors of Half-Life (which you can find on Amazon), has accustomed us to initiatives of these types with a certain regularity.\r\nThe title that Steam is offering you for free starting today is Conscience, a gripping noir adventure that puts you in the shoes of a private investigator.\r\nHere is the description of Conscience:\r\n\r\n«Jack Beckham is found dead, hanging alone in his apartment. The police say it was suicide. His father, refusing to accept the conclusion, hires you to investigate. Explore the clues left in his apartment to find out what really happened.”\r\n\r\nConscience puts you in the shoes of a private investigator tasked with uncovering the truth behind Jack Beckham’s death. Found hanging in his apartment, the case was dismissed as suicide. However, Jack’s father doesn’t believe this story and turns to you for answers.\r\nExplore every corner of Jack’s apartment, rummaging through rooms, shelves and drawers to uncover hidden clues and evidence. Every detail could be crucial, and it is up to you to inspect the objects, analyze them thoroughly and reveal the secrets they hide.\r\nPut the pieces of the puzzle together by collecting the information that will guide you towards the truth. What is the mystery behind Jack’s death? What dark secrets lurk within the walls of his apartment?\r\nWith Conscience, every choice and every deduction will bring you closer to the solution, but the path will never be obvious. Will you be perceptive enough to find out what really happened?\r\nYou have little time to download it, however, and you can easily do it for free at this address.\r\nSpeaking of free games, don’t forget the ones that arrive every week via Epic Games Store: you can find them here.
