After the success of the first open beta of Monster Hunter Wilds held in November, Capcom has confirmed that a second phase of testing will be held next month. \r\nThis will be another opportunity to preview the new chapter of the famous Monster Hunter saga (pre-order on Amazon).\r\nThe first beta recorded enormous participation, to the point of breaking the records of simultaneous players on Steam for the series.\r\nWith such a response from the community, it’s no surprise that Capcom has decided to offer another opportunity for those who weren’t able to participate the first time or simply want to get back into the game (via TR). \r\nThe second beta will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. It will be divided into two periods of three days each:\r\n\r\nFirst session: from 7 to 10 February\r\nSecond session: from 14 to 17 February\r\n\r\nThis phase will include all the content already seen in the first beta, with the addition of a new challenge: face the return of the Gypceros, a poison-themed monster that has not been seen in a main chapter of the series since Monster Hunter Generations.\r\nDuring the beta, players will be able to create their own character, with the possibility of modifying it as many times as they want, designing their own Palico (the faithful feline companion) and saving the character creation data to use them in the full version of the game.\r\nWho who participated in the first beta will be able to continue with the character already created or create a new one.\r\nBy participating in the new beta, players will be able to obtain unique rewards for the full version of the game, including a bonus pendant and some additional items.\r \nThe second open beta arrives shortly before the official launch of Monster Hunter Wilds, scheduled for February 28 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series \r\nIf you want to find out more about the game, don’t miss our preview by the good Silvio.
