The Christmas period brings with it the inevitable promotion of free games from the Epic Games Store, and, like every year, the anticipation is high.\r\nIn a similar – but not identical – way to Xbox Game Pass (which you can also find on Amazon at a low price) as always you just need to have an Epic account to download what you want, even during Christmas. \r\nNow, Epic’s program is ready to reveal the next free game, from now until the end of the year, just for the holidays.\r\nToday, from 5 pm, it’s the turn of Dredge, a role-playing game 2023 fishing horror adventure game developed by Black Salt Games and published by Team17, new free title distributed by the Epic Games Store during the holidays.\r\nThe official description of the game – which you can find here – reads:\r\n\r\n«DREDGE is a single-player fishing adventure with a sinister current. Sell fish, upgrade your boat, and dredge the depths for long-buried secrets.\r\nExplore a mysterious archipelago and discover why some things are better left forgotten forever.»\r\n\r\nThis game has gained an ever-widening fan base, thanks to its addictive formula and the post-launch expansions that have enriched the experience.\r\nDark and Darker – Legendary Status is made free for one day only, on which marks a clear change compared to Epic’s usual weekly offers.\r\nBut it doesn’t end here: from now on, the free games will take place every day until the end of the year, with 16 titles in total that will be given away before the arrival of 2025.\r\nIt is not yet clear which games will be included in the offer, but the fact that the basis of the offer is free is already excellent news for those who have not yet tried it. \r\nSticking on the topic, here is the collection of all the games made available for free by the Epic Games Store, from 2018 to today, in the digital store’s usual weekly initiative.
