We are sure that GTA 6 will break many records like its predecessor did, but even before the title comes out Rockstar is already collecting records.\r\nIt is precisely the wait that is a record for Rockstar, as reported by Gamespot. The time elapsed between the launch of the first trailer and the second trailer, or any other information for that matter, is the longest period ever recorded for Rockstar titles.\r\nIn fact, 381 days have passed since the launch of the first trailer for GTA 6 , launched on December 5, 2023.\r\nAs for GTA V (you can find it on Amazon), the first trailer was released on November 2, 2011, while the second arrived on November 14 2012, with a range of 378 days. For Red Dead Redemption 2, the gap was 343 days, from the first trailer on October 20, 2016 to the second on September 28, 2017.\r\nThe interesting thing to note is that not only was there no second trailer for GTA 6, but Rockstar has been completely silent since we first saw the new chapter in the series.\r\nThere hasn’t even been any comment regarding the alleged release date, which is a lot has been said in recent months.\r\nJason Schreier recently expressed himself in this regard, judging the release of GTA 6 in 2025 as surprising, suggesting that a further postponement could be on the horizon.\r\nThis has allowed the proliferation of memes and chatter in general about the game, which has become so strong that even Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two, the company that owns Rockstar Games, said he was amused by the situation.\r\nZelnick spoke in general about Rockstar’s strategy of silence, rewarding it because it generally manages to create hype with very little effort (and who can blame him) and to give GTA 6 the aura of sacredness it deserves.
GTA 6 is gone, but it achieved another record
