The weekend of Stalker 2 will certainly be more stable because, after the turbulent launch, the first major stability update arrives for the beloved survival shooter.\r\nSTALKER 2 was a considerable success, with one million copies sold in just a few hours and without Game Pass (you can subscribe via Amazon), and the team rightly needed to make the experience better for the many fans.\r\nAs announced in a note on Steam, in fact, the patch is now available 1.0.1 of Stalker 2.\r\nPatch 1.0.1 has been released on PC and Xbox, with over 650 issues fixed and improvements ranging from AI to performance to game balance.\r\nAmong the highlights we find several improvements to artificial intelligence. For example, an issue that blocked groups of NPCs near shelters has been fixed, and a bug that caused the Burer to drop quest items from the player’s hands.\r\nMissing sound effects have also been added for the Burer’s telekinesis abilities and fixed behavior issues that prevented NPCs from reaching their intended destinations.\r\nGame optimization is another crucial aspect of this patch. Bugs related to invisible NPCs and mutants have been fixed, as well as fixing crashes caused by memory leaks or rendering issues. The balance has also been refined: the cost to repair weapons and armor has been reduced, while the rewards for missions have increased up to three times compared to before.\r\nAs for combat, enemies such as the Bloodsucker and the Controllers have been weakened, while the resistance of player equipment has been slightly increased.
