The Korean Game Awards awarded a record seven awards to Shift Up’s hit PS5 title, Stellar Blade.\r\nThe game (which you can find on Amazon) triumphed, taking home the awards for Best Developer, Best Planning/Screenplay , Best Sound, Best Graphics, Best Character Design, Popular Game Award and the prestigious Grand Prize (via PSU).\r\nOriginally released in April this year, Stellar Blade won over audiences with its combination of storytelling and breathtaking graphics, which come together to create a unique experience (here is our review). \r\nShift Up says it is working towards a PC launch in 2025, giving gamers on other platforms the chance to experience this epic adventure.\r\nAdditionally, the game will soon receive some fan-awaited updates. In fact, on November 20th, the Photo Mode will arrive, which will allow you to capture the most epic moments of the gameplay with extra details.\r\nA Nier Automata-themed DLC is also expected, a tribute to the famous PlatinumGames title that made history for its distinctive style and its narrative depth.\r\nOne of the aspects that has allowed Stellar Blade to maintain a high visual standard is its compatibility with PS5 Pro, the enhanced version of the Sony console.\r\nAccording to a recent analysis by Digital Foundry, the title takes advantage of PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) upscaling technology, which allows for exceptional visual rendering, with significantly improved clarity and gameplay fluidity.\r\nSeven awards are not seen every day, but Stellar Blade seems to have struck the right chord with audiences and critics. Between impactful graphics and a solid narrative, Shift Up hit the mark, without excesses or revolutions.\r\nA deserved success, but it remains to be seen whether it will be able to maintain this quality in future updates.\r\nGiven the awards won, We’ll also see if Stellar Blade manages to take home something at the next The Game Awards, now upon us.
