Given up for dead several times now, the physical editions of video games seem to still want to forcefully take their share of the market.\r\nSo, after the announcement of Alan Wake 2 in retail copy has arrived in these hours and we are talking about the he absence of the disc in the physical copy of Black Myth: Wukong, here too Balatro is preparing to arrive on the shelves. Physically, of course.\r\nThe roguelike card game, which was one of the great independent phenomena and successes of the year – as our Salvatore Pilò explained very well, underlining the effectiveness of its game design – has announced in these hours with the release of a press release the arrival of a physical version for consoles, intended for players on PS5, Xbox Series n \n The physical copy of Balatro, out this year.\n \n \n \n\n \n\n\r\nMade by Playstack and LocalThunk, who thus pull an ace out of their sleeve (.. .), this version of the game will also include 10 physical cards that match the design of those in the game.\r\nThe price will be $29.99, with the launch expected later this year.\r\nSince its debut, Balatro has sold over a million copies, mixing deck-building mechanics with roguelike dynamics in an ingenious way.\r\nIt’s based on poker, but it shuffles the cards (give me this other joke) in an original and unpredictable way.\r\ nIn addition to consoles, it is also available digitally on PC.
Physical editions to the rescue: the indie phenomenon of the year is also here
