Need for Speed isn’t dead, there’s news

Need for Speed Unbound brought the racing franchise back into vogue but, apparently, the game did not go as the developers hoped.\r\nThe title, which you can find on Amazon, was also a surprise for the aesthetic choice adopted by the Criterion team.\r\nNeed for Speed Unbound was therefore an interesting chapter, a pleasant if not sensational return, as we explained in our review.\r\nNow, as reported by IGN US, the developer Criterion has published a blog post dedicated to the second year roadmap, stating that: «Surprise! We’re still here, and not just here – we’ve got a whole year of content coming for you!”.\r\nCriterion confirmed that another 12 months of content is planned from a small team, although it warned players: “We will be honest and admit that we can’t build everything everyone wants right now, but we can decide together what NFS should be in the future.”\r\n“Our vision is that through our second year of live service, you will be able to , for the first time, start playing the definitive NFS experience in one place,” said Criterion.\r\n“Your feedback and gameplay will help shape the future of this iconic franchise.”\r\n nFans can expect four new volumes of content over the next year, each launching every few months.\r\nAt least one new main mode, two new cars, and a new Speed Pass (with an optional premium track) will be part of of each volume. \r\nThe plan also includes events, challenges, ranks to earn and new progressions, as well as bug fixes and improvements. “We see this as a year to test and learn and understand what works best for you,” added Criterion.\r\nLet’s hope this is enough, given that the launch of Need for Speed Unbound seems to have created problems at Criterion, because some veterans they left after the release.
