Naughty Dog and Neil Druckmann have announced that they have definitively closed the doors to the Uncharted saga, although in these hours none other than the new chapter may have been anticipated.

After the sequel to the second chapter of The Last of Us (you can find it at a discounted price on Amazon), the American developer has in fact confirmed that he does not want to revive the saga by Nathan Drake.

Naughty Dog explained that it has “turned the page” with respect to the Uncharted saga, although the action-adventure series could still return .

An original live-action commercial, with “journalistic inquiries” that arrive directly « Live from PS5», may in fact have anticipated Uncharted 5.

As also reported by PlayStation Lifestyle, it seems that the new PS5 commercial has somehow anticipated the alleged Uncharted 5.

A short segment of the clip shows an unidentified game, which however closely resembles the style of Uncharted. At 0:43 of the video, we see a girl walking towards some kind of artifact in a cave, holding a torch.

Certainly the adventuress does not seem to be Lara Croft, so much so that she could actually be Cassie , the daughter of Nathan Drake and Elena Fisher.

Speculations that Cassie will be the new protagonist of the Uncharted series have multiplied following her appearance in the finale of Uncharted 4 A Thief’s End .

It is also true that Naughty Dog recently declared that he is moving away from the saga, giving credence to the rumors that speak of a different studio engaged in the work of the next chapter.

Indeed, it seems that the series could return to another studio, given that according to what has been reported, the franchise is in the process of being rebooted.
