If you are waiting for the new GPU of the NVIDIA RTX 30 line, you may have to wait a little longer than expected. According to what has been revealed by the colleagues of the specialized site VideoCardz , who say they are certain they have information from reliable sources close to the manufacturer, NVIDIA has decided to recalendarize all the releases for next December .
Specifically, we are talking about the launch of a 20 GB RTX 3080 and a 16 GB RTX 2070 . The previously rumored RTX 3060 Ti , however, would be expected around mid-November.
At the moment it is not known the reasons for this change of plans by NVIDIA, but it is likely that – as stated by the CEO a few days ago – the exceptional demand that the manufacturer has found himself compared with the possibilities of the offer and its production chain, it led to recalculate more realistic dates, as already happened with the awaited RTX 3070, now out at the end of the month.
For the moment, these are rumors and we are waiting for NVIDIA to decide on these further variants of its GPUs. Meanwhile, rumors speak of an AMD ready to launch three new 16 GB GPUs with Navi 21 architecture – which is why NVIDIA would be preparing to launch these additional models, to occupy all possible segments of the market.
