> On June 16, Square Enix announced the new chapter of its now well-known Kingdom Hearts franchise, known as Melody of Memory .
The game, expected on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One, will however be a very different title compared to the action-RPG that the saga has accustomed us to: it will in fact be a rhythm game, whose release is expected within and no later than the end of 2020.
Despite some disappointment from fans, who certainly did not expect to find such a game in their hands, the Japanese publisher has now released a new series of screenshots taken from the game.

In Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory we will find over 20 characters from the main saga, including the historical protagonists Sora, Pippo and Donald Duck.
But not only: over 10 songs will be included, as well as the possibility of taking part in various online challenges. The game will obviously leverage the sound sector, relying on the soundtracks of the Japanese composer Yoko Shimomura .
We also remember that the last chapter of the series, Kingdom Hearts III , has been available for several months on PS4 and Xbox One consoles. Welcomed with positive reviews – but with too much – the game directed by Tetsuya Nomura offered a gameplay that cleverly combines the action RPG soul with the various worlds belonging to the Disney universe, from that of Frozen passing through Toy Story . Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory is expected on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch during the year . It is still unclear whether the game will see the light in the West in conjunction with the Japanese release.
