GTA V on Xbox Game Pass one day after goodbye to PlayStation Now

Today’s news, GTA V is available immediately on the Xbox Game Pass , to be precise in the console version of the Microsoft subscription service.

As the more careful of you have noticed, the latest chapter of Grand Theft Auto has also been included in the lineup of PlayStation Now, Sony’s streaming (and non-streaming) gaming platform.

However, GTA V came out just yesterday from the PlayStation Now library, along with God of War, Uncharted 4: End of a Thief and inFamous Second Son.

This means that the Japanese company presumably had a temporary exclusive agreement on the content on demand of Rockstar Games, as indeed had been suggested by SIE president Jim Ryan, and that this agreement could have expired exactly yesterday .

Microsoft may have been informed of this at this point and may have waited for the first moment to announce, surprisingly, the arrival of the title on the Xbox Game Pass and insert it instantly on its platform.

We will predictably see other cases of this kind repeat over the year, since the new entries of PlayStation Now are almost always timed limited.
