Bad news for collectors of physical editions: the first chapter of Devil May Cry coming to Nintendo Switch will be released exclusively in a digital version downloadable from eShop.

“This product is only available as a download. There is no provision for publishing a physical edition” , it is clearly specified on the game’s official website.

We’ll see if in the future Capcom operated for a retail version for the Asian market, as also happened with the previous Okami and Onimusha (the latter, also containing the Italian language).

Would you have liked to get your hands on a physical copy or is it fine just to download it via eShop?
