In a direct conduct by 343 Industries, it was leaked that Halo Infinite, the anticipated new chapter in the series for Xbox One and Windows 10, will not include a battle royale mode.

According to the writer Jeff Easterling, “I’ll tell you, at this moment the only BR we’re interested in is the Battle Rifle” – an ironic reference to the historical weapon of the series.

Beyond the jokes, Easterling asked the community to “calm down” about the possible inclusion of a battle royale mode, since this would be a passing fad that could have just disappeared when Halo Infinite came out.

We remind you that the game does not have a launch date yet and that, with Gears 4 coming in 2019, it is very likely that it will be dealt with within a couple of years.
