The poor Prince of Persia is finished put in a corner, with a similar fate to that of the Splinter Cell series, sacrificed on the altar that Ubisoft has erected to productions with strong online component and, of course, to Assassin’s Creed.
But, as indeed is the saga of Sam Fisher, not necessarily that of the Prince is not always in the thoughts of the French House. While official sources are silent, in fact, it looks like something is movingbelow deck.
A thread appeared on the Ubisoft forums reveals that the Publisher would Commission a transalpine Montreal art school a project called anything but “Prince of Persia in 2017”.
Taking a cue from the franchise, students-according to this reconstruction–would be called to put down on paper his vision for a Prince of Persia set in modern times.
Sketches prepared that would reveal two characters: the Prince Benham andPrincess Ava.
Who knows what this material may not be reused for a videogame project itself, or that it is not the result of a vision already cultivated within Ubisoft for the upcoming Prince of Persia.
