343 Industries has revealed, in an update on its official blog that it’s going to take some “extra time” to make the Halo Xbox 360 titles promised in July that are compatible with Xbox One.

The games in question are Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST Anniversary and Halo 4.

“We can’t wait to get them in your hands. Xbox backwards compatibility team is working hard on finishing touches and we continue to workclosely with them to help them test and evaluate all four titles for the launch, “reads the note of Seattle.

“We’re taking a little more time to make sure the experience is up to the expectations of fans, but I feel that we are making great progress and the launch should be close”.
